Summer Greetings!
Yikes! it’s June already! And since I’m running late this month, I decided to send a few Feng Shui tips for increasing the flow of prosperity in your life.
• Your Front Door – Thisis where the opportunities most easily enter your life. The area leading up to and the surrounding it should be clean and inviting.
Summer colors are fiery and cheerful, so the addition of bright flowers or a wreathe around the door will help to stimulate the flow of career and wealth energy into your home.
It should open easily and any blocking clutter or storage should be removed both from inside and outside the door as it can limit your choices and opportunities to move forward.
Placing a water feature appropriately near your main entrance can also stimulate the flow of wealth into your life. Make sure that the water is flowing inward toward your living space.
- Install an Aquarium – This can increase the flow of money into your life. Aquariums are especially powerful because of the different elements involved, including live animals and movement.
However, only do this if you are committed to its regular care.
• Clean your windows – Windows relate to your ability to look forward, see the big picture, and visualize your future. Clean windows will help to bring clarity about money issues and any steps you may need to take to insure your future.
• Your Kitchen – In Feng Shui we associate the kitchen with prosperity, nourishment, and health. It is often described as the soul of the home because this is where food that nourishes the residents get cleaned, prepared, cooked, and stored.
Keep your kitchen (especially your stove) clean. Also, make sure that you have an abundance of both fresh and non-perishable food on hand.
Whenever possible, your stove should be positioned so that the cook is facing all doors and windows that enter into the kitchen. If this is not possible, place one or more mirrors so that the cook is in a command position and see anything that might startle her from behind.
Quickly clean up spills around your stove as soon as possible. They can not only block prosperity, but also stimulate disagreements between family members.
Also, clean your refrigerator regularly. Once food starts to become old, dispose of it as soon as possible.
Empty trash and recycling bins daily to create space for new opportunities.
• Wash or dust the leaves of your houseplants periodically.
• Keep your car clean and clutter-free This is especially important if you use your car in your work or even for travel to and from your job.
May your flow increase daily!
