You and your home are one! Well, almost. Your home is actually a mirror reflecting who you are and the current circumstances in your life.
Many folks believe that they can’t have their home fengshuid until they’ve cleared all of their clutter. Although, it’s usually easier to Feng Shui a clutterfree area, your home may need a professional energy clearing first. There are Feng Shui cures which move stagnant energy. And, clutter is one kind of stagnant energy.
Many Feng Shui Consultants have been trained in special processes that provide a more lasting clearing than saging and some of the other popular clearing processes. These other methods are good, but they need to be redone often, whereas the deeper processes of Feng Shui have a lasting effect and start movement in a positive direction and also can help clear up confusion in areas that are bothering you.
Since Feng Shui is in part based on the I Ching or Book of Changes, as you grow and change, even slightly, you will find that even the mundane Feng Shui enhancements and remedies that you’ve placed may need to be altered.
When you understand this, you know that all life is in a constant state of flux. Your Feng Shui periodically needs to be adjusted to reflect your current life situation.
Everyone is on a path with constant shifts—some large and some so subtle that you hardly notice them. However, at some point you will probably realize that you have entered a new chapter in your life (or perhaps gone through many subchapters).
It’s good to do a life review at least once a year. Usually times that mark a new beginning are good–like the western New Year, Chinese New Year, Spring, start of school, end of a relationship, etc.
Then, even if your goals haven’t changed, it’s good to bless each cure or enhancement. This adds energy to an already effective cure. Also, whenever possible clean them.
Also, don’t give up on clutter clearing. As you life has changed, so have your needs. This should make it easier for you to know what to let go of. As you think of something that is not used, broken, or that brings down your energy whenever you look at it, remove it from your home immediately.
May your spring be filled with miracles & wonderful changes!
